Infrastructure stability is more valuable than political signaling. The ledger remembers what the interface forgets. When the political narrative shifts and the headlines move on, the hard constraints of production capacity, readiness levels, and budget allocations remain. They are the ground truth.

The question for 2027 is not whether Germany will still be supporting Ukraine. It is whether the European defense architecture being built in this crisis — the supply chains, the coordination mechanisms, the industrial base — will be designed with the same rigor as the weapons systems themselves.
