Every ZEC block pays out roughly 1.5625 ZEC after the November 2024 halving. If 3.78 GSol/s lands on the network, the difficulty algorithm will adjust upward to keep block times near 75 seconds. That means two things:

  1. Security density increases – The cost of a 51% attack on Zcash climbs in lockstep with hash rate. For a privacy chain, where trustless finality is the entire value proposition, that's a direct upgrade to the network's credibility.
